In groups we had to analyse the contents page of a random music magazine to help us prepare for our analysis of music magazines from our own genre, we analysed the images, text and layout of the contents page and found out the conventions of a contents page. My groups' contents page wasn't very interesting and we critiqued the fact that it was not very visually busy or interesting, which is helpful in showing us what not to do for our own music magazines. Our magazine 'Blues and Soul' had only one page of contents and listed all the editorials that it had, it wasn't visually interesting compared to the other music magazines we looked at so there is not much to say about it.
